Vitra Communal cells by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec

Vitra Communal Cells Designed by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec is a microarchitectural element that creates islands of open space offices. Technology can be configured as a space (for the copier, printer, etc.) Rack, kitchen or cafe (bar stools), but also as a shield job to work standing, with a structure similar to that of a cab, or as a rest area (a small job with a recliner). Thanks to its modular construction, can change according to usage needs.


The panels, 1.85 m high, set at right angles, are available in different widths and are composed of a mixed construction of 6 cm thick. The outer surface has a coated textile material absorbs noise, while the inside is equipped with a perforated plate which acts as soundproofing.
