In our posts dedicated to the DIY and the “do it yourself” not only we want to show you to build furniture, but also to “tune”, recycle them or customize them. Any economic and simple piece is likely to renew with a little ingenuity, and with cheap and readily available materials. For example, the table that we show in this picture. That is beautiful?
As you can see on the left, have proceeded from a very popular design: the Ikea Lack coffee table. And to “tune” have helped us a piece of wall paper and some upholstery tacks.
To start, I recommend you lijes gently the worktop and the edges of the table, as well as the edges of the table below. The parts that we forraremos with the role will be. If you do not want to complicate, rather than a wallpaper can use a paper self-adhesive; vinyl DIY centres you will find lots of beautiful designs.

But if you are going to follow our example and want to take advantage of some piece of wallpaper that you on, then you will have to apply a coat of glue on the table so that the paper grip. You can use white-tailed well extended with spatula or glue of contact, you will have to apply for the reverse side of the paper and the surface to take. Stick the paper carefully on the worktop and the edges of the table below, trying to do bubbles or folds.
And now, the final detail: nail a series of upholstery tacks in the perimeter of the countertop. These tacks resemble classic upholstered chairs, and are phenomenal. There are also strips of tacks of metal that they are stuck at intervals, and are sold in specialty upholstery shops. If you use wallpaper for the lining, try to choose a model that is washable and resistant.
