The kunstbar by Arne Quinze in Cologne
After four years of planning, in the form of banana the kunstbar imagined by Arne Quinze has opened in Cologne in Germany.
In the framework (under) the new outdoor staircase of the Cathedral of Cologne before the huge square in the centre of the city. The Belgian designer has integrated elements of artistic design with many facets: including color, light, sound, installations, paintings, furniture and even a variety of beverages.

With a vision dark, futuristic and very original Arne Quinze here imagine a bar in a universe with more trends, indeed it is a major current of his later years.
This project is party (out of the program) event “Passagen”, the “kunstbar ‘ is a project in collaboration with the”kölnischer kunstverein“art association.”. Starting this year, the association will
assign each year the task of designing a bar to a known artist.
