For over 60 years, the ideals of Swedese have been the same: to make beautiful furniture for the future, designed by artists who share a timeless idea of architecture and built according to Scandinavian modern traditions. The company was founded in 1945 by brothers Yngve and Jerker Ekström, together with Sven Bertil Sjöqvis. Today, Swedese has two factories in Sweden, where it produces all its furniture.
