STUA furnishes the Guggenheim Museum in New York with Globus, wave and Gas designs.
Following a settlement of colabroación in the long term with the Solomon r. Guggenheim Foundation, the Basque brand of furniture design contemporary STUA has furnished the Solomon r. Guggenheim Museum in New York and its offices to the South of Manhattan with some of his pieces. The chosen designs have been Chair Gas (Jesús Gasca, 2000) for the main part of the Museum and the Globus (JG, 1994) Chair and stool wave (JG, 2006) to the circle that surrounds the building.
This project culminates STUA dream: collect the furniture created over the last three decades by Jesús Gasca and his team in a unique setting as the Solomon r. Guggenheim Museum in New York.
The New York Guggenheim Foundation Museum is one of the summits of the architecture of the 20th century as well as one of the most valued buildings of its author; the American architect Frank Lloyd Wright spent more than 14 years in this unique building. Today the Museum is regarded as one of the most important milestones of the architecture of the 20th century and one of the most beautiful buildings in the world.
