alvaro uribe designer has created a stool by bending plastic reinforced with the fiber of carbon in a seat and two legs. Called Plum this stool is created by folding the material at key points, inspired by the veins of the leaves.

The stool is an exploration of the fibre of carbon and its possible applications in residential furniture. The goal of the product is sent to the lightness and performance. The stool was born by using less material, reaching a weight of 300 gr, as Van der Rohe conceived the design modern.
The form is inspired by the veins of leaves, under the influence of the wind. With a dynamic movement similar to that of a ballet dancer, stool reflect opportunities in materials. It is a fluid and aesthetic of the very concept of stool, exploration using in addition to the latest generation materials. A work treated which combines lightness, strength and design.
