Retro Modern Chair H 57 by Herbert Hirche

A hidden treasures was found in the old House of Herbert Hirche in Stuttgart, a Retro Modern Chair, The people who were started the investigations, visiting his daughter Hirche Conny, who still lives. They found a low chair, designed for the famous fair “Interbau” in Berlin 1956. They were speechless when we saw it. Why did this chair never go into production? A chair in the tradition of Saarinen and Eames, still an independent design.

The decision was quickly made, they got their hands on the chair  and The Retro Modern Chair “H 57” is now available in the original green “Velour” fabric, alternatives in grey and dark brown.
