Jean Luc Figueras, the chef of the Blanc, the hotel Mandarin Oriental Barcelona contemporary brasserie restaurant, has recently released “Los Domingos de Jean luc”, a gastronomic offer that pays tribute to the kitchen, recovering the most popular and traditional recipes to be degustadas in a relaxed and festive like atmosphere the Sundays, the family day of the week for excellence.
In a kitchen linked to the culture, landscape and memories, Jean Luc Figueras, native of Saint Antonin Noble Val, a town in the southwest of France, recovers typical dishes of the land like the Cassoulet or Confit of duck with applesas well as other known Mediterranean recipes.
The 13-16 h, customers of Blanc will find an extensive buffet for the cold appetizers as the Pate of campaign, the Foie Mi-cuit, Quiche Lorraine and a variety of salads, charcuterie and cheese selection.

As for its decoration, natural light bathes the room through the glass ceiling of two heights. Carved ornamental panels, inspired by Oriental panels, provide a radiant white background and projected drawings of light through the Atrium, thereby creating a quiet and cosy atmosphere.
