Luxury like no other, and with spectacular views over the sea. So this spectacular residence located in Bantry Bay, Cape Town, South Africa. A project carried out by the Studio SAOTA (Stefan Antoni Olmesdalh Thunder Architects). The interior decoration was conducted by Antoni Associates. The result was a wonderful House that breathes relaxation and serenity, perhaps also by the relaxing proximity of the sea.
The House was created for a family with two young children, and was intended to be comfortable, cosy and with enough space to accommodate family gatherings and events. The view towards Robben Island and Clifton beaches are incredible.
Given that the building sits on a sloping terrain, the back of the House has almost half of its height below unevenness of the ground. The distribution of the interiors is linear, so all rooms enjoy the view of the sea, while the back, just without Windows, WINS in Privacy.
Access to the House is from the back, by a glass-enclosed space that will give to the main room of the House. On this floor, there are two other rooms, the kitchen and the dining room.
Through the staircase you reach the level where the bedrooms are located. And, descending, you can access the plant down, below the ground level, where there is a living room with a bar of bar, a wine cellar and a sort of sunken seating area overlooking to the bottom of the pool.
