Repair and renovation of social housing apartment
Apartment Redhill is located in Singapore social housing apartment and was the renovation of Kevin Lim by Studio Sklim. The concept of the renovation is distributed with movable space and area mirroring a large account rooms to create environment. Furniture have been designed as a series of space and related to the larger space flow with continuity of geometry and material.
The approach of the design of custom furniture comes from their inherent functions and their relationships with each other in this particular area. The slope of the entry Foyer exhibition was the Shoe cabinet kind locked, for example, a reflection at the bottom of the Cabinet and the gap between the pieces above and below available provided a natural cross ventilation and a point of view of the entrance of the kitchen.
The kitchen be divided a wet and dry area with part of the last of a Home Office. The area of the dining room was larger and integrated Visual continuity with the surrounding furniture in the dry home kitchen was carried out for all the living room.
