P01 is the new integrated equipment for libraries, designed by Aitor García de Vicuña (AGV Studio) to the manufacturer Esquitino. The program is composed of bank, shelf, table, chair, bench and accessories, which combine an elegant and minimalist, and the functionality required to successfully accomplish their missions.

Desigual Bank:

A piece that moves away from the traditional concept of bench for waiting areas and reception. Minimalist, contemporary, elegant and functional design “uneven” playing with the asymmetry of the legs and back, enhancing the overall aesthetic balance.

The support structure is composed of white sheet or 12 mm pressed board, side board seat honeycomb of 40 mm, and legs of steel rod of 12 mm.

Front Studio:

Studio is a counter which further emphasizes its austere but functional design, its modularity. This latter feature allows the creation of custom configurations. The sides are made of white metal tubular structure 60 x 30 mm, while the covers and front panel can be melamine, HPL, MDF or wood. The panels also can be recorded as a signal. To ensure proper care for the disabled, the table may be raised from the structure.

Mesa Studio-M:

A table consisting of, suitable for everyday use and designed in a lightweight, minimalist aesthetic. Its structure is made from sheet of 1.2 mm thick, with central channel cabling and accessories such as separator panels or luminaries, among others. The finish on the top and sides can be in melamine, laminate or wood. Its structure is designed to create multiple jobs, faced and corridos.

Chair / Bench Nexus:

Simple and functional design, with or without arms and oriented for use in large spaces, the chair is constructed Nexus housing in beechwood and structure of 12 mm rod. There is also shaped bed, suitable for reception and waiting areas.

Studio shelf-E:

A modular shelving and personal, easily adaptable thanks to its various measures. It is made with white metal sides in one piece and wood siding, DM, or lacquer. The roof can also be customized in these materials. The panel is made of metal shelves and fixing screws does not require so assembly is quick and easy.

To increase its versatility and respond to specific demands, can be installed with a large number of accessories such as shelves fixed, removable or inclined, magazine and box hinged, horizontal markers, side and front, hanging bookends, lighting.

Aitor García de Vicuña was born in Vitoria in 1970. Studied Industrial Design at the Design School of San Sebastian and the Experimental School of Design in Madrid. In 2003, after working several years in various engineering studies and technical offices, AGV case study.

It develops comprehensive industrial design projects, always focusing on the world of habitat, work spaces and furniture. During this period of time has worked with many companies in this sector as Ofita, Inclass, Bior, Pison, Famo, Tagar, Kortilux and Zess.
