Nix, a Collection of Small Tables from B & B Italia

Gabriele and Oscar Buratti, both architects and founders, with engineer Ivano Battiston, Buratti, Battiston study Architects, are the authors of Nix, a collection of low tables, the area suitable for both day and for night. This is the first time that the study signed a product for the division House B & B Italia.

One attraction of visual lightness Nix is derived from the minimum thickness of sheet metal panels and studs with hollow section. As the authors themselves say “seem prepared with separate sheets of paper for legs that also resemble folded paper: we wanted to have a subtle and light to offset the volume always plenty of sofas, while remaining single material and brilliant.” Can be used individually, connected or fit together. The essential difficulty of the project is in the design of the leg, in his gentle curve that fits into the empty board, in number and alternate placement to form several small tables.

The tables are finished in gloss white lacquer or black and available in two sizes: 40 cm (d) x 45 cm (h) and 90 cm (d) x 34 cm (h). In addition, the smaller version may have leather or wooden board.
