Icavi Bikain and Cidemco-Tecnalia Xenon Universal office furniture system
Ofita, Icavi Bikain and Cidemco-Tecnalia have developed the first universal office furniture system, is valid for all people including those with some form of functional diversity. This innovative system has been named Xenon Universal.
For the design of this collection was started from a very different perspective. No products have been designed for people with disabilities, but have used the functional limitations variables that have led to challenges to overcome, to result in innovative products.
The design has been carried out in two areas in contrasting colors, thinking people with partial visual impairment. This contrast will serve as reference for its location on your workstation.
The tables meet the requirements of space between studs, 1800 long by 800 deep, which facilitates the movement of people in wheelchairs.
For people who perform work to the public, has designed a mobile flap system that facilitates the location of people in wheelchairs on both the operator and the confidant. This skirt is tucked through a manual handle, creating additional space.
The tables incorporate a recess for control of the electric wheelchair, which allows greater freedom of movement and better handling of the controller itself.
The tables are adjustable in height by flicking a small charge. This is also an element of great strength, since both the structure and the engine that enable the lifting of the table, perfectly resist the weight of the separator panel and the keyboard holder in both the maximum height as a minimum.
