HI-MACS Table Sound System for iPod by Shi-hyung Jeon
Horn is the new piece of art made by hand in HI-MACS, designed by the renowned architect Korean Shi-hyung Jeon Jeon Associates, in collaboration with the HI-MACS team of LG Hausys.
The concept of design plays a full spectrum of sounds at the time that, aesthetically reinterprets the sleeve of the traditional Korean costumes “Have-bok” and “beo-seon” in contemporary key.
After numerous technical tests with different materials, HI-MACS proved to be optimal for the cockpit of the loudspeaker cabinet choice, since it’s a non-porous material that generates a minimal vibration in contact with the speakers. Thus, HIMACS helps lead the vibration from the cavity of the speaker, which allows a minimum deviation of sound, with a curved design that produces the purest musical result. HI-MACS thermoforming properties were essential for creating the amazing and smooth curved shape of Horn.
Horn is made especially for iPod devices and play the full spectrum of sounds. The acoustic material and majestic curves provide that experience of hearing incredibly clear and accurate seeking audiophiles today.
