Commemorative coffee table
This table‘s Center, which believe it or not in this first image, it is part of a collection of eighteen pieces designed by the students of the School of art from the University of Michigan, in the name of Transiessencewhole, and to be they exhibited at the Salon in Milan.
To some extent it shows that it is the design of a student, or at least to my seems it to me, because it has form of giant file cabinet , so that on the other hand I love and also has a meaning and a very special use because it is designed to store memories. I’ve always been a fan of the coffee table, against those who vote for delete it from the living room and I always thought that many things revolve around them, so I think it is a place like box of memories.
Entry has a space to place photos, as a giant album, perhaps also some postcards and later has an internal cavity in which to save all kinds of small objects, who says memories says the keys and command of the tele… The space is available, each store that you want, but the table is called memory.
Once closed, and the things inside the table is perfectly functional, which means that it is perfect for its primary function is to rest your feet on it. Perhaps it is a little small and low to serve snacks and other things, but it is a perfect footstool, to my seems very nice and funny and floors of students, will no doubt be perfect.
