Before and after: a rustic cuisine which is modernized

Una cocina rústica antes de la reforma

There was a time when most was put a rustic kitchen, because you lived in a small community village, in a medium-sized city Toledo type or in a large city like Barcelona. The place where lived was unimportant because everyone wanted to have a kitchen with an air of people. As well, dear decoadictos: the time passed and we have plenty of rustic kitchens (mine without going further) wishing to be updated.

I propose today to see how made the change in the kitchen you have on these lines to another with a more current style but that will happen fashion in a short time. For the time being, we can see that in the “before” we start from a few wooden floors that are likely to suffer with the fat and the transfer of a normal kitchen and some furniture were fine in the 90s probably but that are now old-fashioned.

Cocina rústica después de la reforma.

After the Reformation, the first thing that draws attention is the change of the wood floor by a black surface (bet, that it is some sort of ceramic wall but I have no more data) that is more in line with the use of this space as a kitchen. Also the white wall tiles have been changed by other more modern but only in a frieze, as seen for example in the area of the clock. I especially prefer to carry tiles to ceiling in kitchens and bathrooms but in this case the result is very good so I would not add anything more on this topic.

The furniture of wood have been changed by others blank (or a grey very clear) with handles of metal very in line with the latest trends in kitchen. The furnace has also been replaced by other more current, game with microwave in the corner. However, not have bypassed all of the wood as we continue to see her in the worktop and the bar that appears to the right of the photo in the foreground, without a doubt an ideal place to have a quick breakfast.

In summary, this change I like a lot, even if we think that in the first image the kitchen did not have any snap-in, because we have given to this environment aires new creating more storage space and facilitating its cleaning through the removal of trim in the furniture in the “before”. That Yes, I do not advise cambiéis all furniture that you have a rustic cuisine as I understand it is a very expensive investment and if the furniture is well there is no why be wasteful spending.
