Antonio Citterio Expands its Bathroom Fitting Collection for Axor
In 2003, the architect and designer Antonio Citterio created for Axor a collection of high quality design of Bathroom Fitting. Following these two lines of action and reaffirming the style that characterizes his work, the Milanese architect now reinforces the series incorporate new Axor Citterio a Bathroom single lever mixer, a standard shower head and shower column Showerpipe. All elements defined by an elegant aesthetic confrontation of sinuous lines and sharp edges, chrome finish.
Following his usual meticulous style, Citterio has designed a sound mixer 180 mm in height, which integrates a jet trainer to adjust the angle of the water with ease and provides maximum comfort. Another novelty is the combination of the classic high spout with a modern hand lever that protrudes from the side.
The product range is completed with a single lever mixer for wash basins 115 mm small mixer, bidet of 90 mm, a rugged overhead shower with three spray modes and Showerpipe with overhead shower and thermostat.
Axor is the designer brand from Hansgrohe and its director is Philippe Grohe, grandson of the founder of Hansgrohe. Its collections are signed by designers and architects internationally acclaimed Philippe Starck, Antonio Citterio, Jean-Marie Massaud, Patricia Urquiola, Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec and Phoenix Design.
One of the most prominent names in Italian design, Antonio Citterio was born in Meda (Italy) in 1950, and only 18 receives its first prize for design of a sofa. Studied architecture at Milan Polytechnic. In 1972 he starts work as a consultant and designer in the industrial field and, between 1987 and 1996, working with Terry Dwan in the Studio Citterio-Dwan. In 1999, she founded with Patricia Viel Antonio Citterio and Partners, a multidisciplinary study in Milan. Its clients include top brands and international companies in different fields: Kartell, Flos, B & B Italia, Vitra, Guzzini, Arclinea, Cerruti, Bulgari Hotels, Hermenegildo Zegna, Flexform, Herman Miller and Boffi, among others.
