Alternative Furniture is the new brand of furniture born of the union between the interior designer Joan Lao and producer of high-end furniture Mobilfresno, in order to offer a complete product differentiator. Away from the convention, is placed after the search for the beauty of simplicity, eliminating it any artifice and sophistication. Its contemporary lines, free of unnecessary items, making it easy to integrate with minimalists environments. For manufacturing-friendly materials are used that do not pollute and do not generate waste and also have high durability.

The first collection bears the name of Alternative Living and is based on the principles of wabi-sabi philosophy to be enjoyed with all five senses. Made of oak wood finishes that mimic the natural erosion of the wood, start with a modular living room with tables and center, upholstery and lighting, which will be expanded to bedrooms, closets and furniture. These first elements were presented internationally in the last room furniture to Maison & Object Paris (January), which could see several modules compositions made with drawers and doors with metal boxes, in addition to the Organic chair and sofa and armchair Vital.
